HISTORY

In early 2010, Susan Raridon Lambreth and Carla Landry, together with a team of certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs) created the first project management certification program designed specifically for the legal profession. This two-day Legal Project Management (LPM) certification course was taught publicly for the first time in June, 2010, in conjunction with Pace University’s project management faculty from PM Centers USA.  Since then, over 2,000 lawyers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. have completed one of the LawVision (or its predecessor) courses.  In addition, thousands of lawyers have participated in the Practising Law Institute's highly regarded annual Project Management for Lawyers conference, which Susan chairs.

In order to make this training more accessible to busy lawyers, in 2012 Susan and Carla, in conjunction with LawVision, launched the first online e-learning courses in LPM.  This program enables lawyers and other legal professionals to obtain a certificate in LPM and is available through this website or lawvisiongroup.com.
